I’m excited
to share this Chia Pudding Recipe ! I think we could all use some immunity strengthening
magic right about now. This recipe is really easy to make and you can
substitute the adaptogens to fit your needs or to fit what you have on hand in
your kitchen.
Let’s talk
for a minute about functional mushrooms. Functional mushrooms have this amazing
ability to help the body respond to stressors. Superfoods like functional
mushrooms and adaptogenic herbs have been used for centuries as healing tools
in Eastern medicine. While it can be debated whether these adaptogenic herbs
actually work, I know from my own experience that I feel amazing when including
these supplements into my routine. And I never get sick! So I choose to believe
in the ancient power of these plants and am thankful to use them to optimize my
body’s performance.
These
superfoods can be eaten as part of a meal, taken as a supplement, blended into
a beverage or smoothie or brewed into teas.
Many
studies have shown that these herbs can boost immunity. Which is exactly what
we are looking at in today’s Chia Pudding Recipe.
I used the Four Sigmatic
Mushroom Blend Mix, an immunity function shield with 10 different mushrooms
but you can use whatever immunity boosting herbs you have on hand. Some recommendations
would be tulsi, ginseng, cordyceps, reishi, eleuthero, and ashwagandha.
I topped
the chia pudding with blood oranges, for a healthy dose of vitamin C, and bee
pollen which has been studies to have amazing benefits, one of them being to
strengthen the immune system.
So what are you waiting for? Go whip up a batch of chia pudding already.

Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re
using? (and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like
yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the
works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of
yourself during the coronavirus scare!
