Ahhh… bliss balls. I fell in love with bliss balls, also often called energy balls, when I was in Bali a few years ago. You can find bliss balls in nearly every cafe, and there are so many different options and flavor combos. Bliss balls are made with natural, whole-food ingredients and make the perfect snack or quick energy boost. Because they are small and store well, they are especially handy when you are on the go. Bliss balls are pretty much a staple for me in my house. I’m excited to share this apple pie bliss balls healthy recipe with you.

One of the reasons I love making healthy bliss balls is because there are so many different flavor combinations. You can have fun with the ingredients and you don’t typically need to use exact measurements, which is my preferred way of cooking and baking!

These balls were inspired by the apple pie Larabar. That flavor is just so dang good and my mission was to recreate it in ball form. I am happy to report that these are pretty darn close! While you can probably make these in a blender with a tamper, I recommend making them in a food processor if you have one.

Lastly, a note about the apples, you could use crunchier dried apple as well, but I made these with a soft dried apple and they came out perfect. I would not recommend substituting fresh apples because it will add too much water into this recipe for healthy apple pie bliss balls. But like I said, bliss balls are pretty generous so feel free to experiment!
